Manhood Peninsula Men’s group

A space to talk.

An opportunity to connect.

This group is for men who want a different kind of conversation.

Life can throw things at all of us. From work stress to family pressures. Whether big decisions or quiet doubts. Sometimes, it helps to talk, often it’s enough to just be in the company of other men who understand.

There’s no pressure to speak, you’re welcome to just listen and just be present.

But know that if you do choose to share, you’ll be heard with respect and held in confidence, without judgement or expectation.

Whether you’re dealing with change, feeling stuck, or simply want space to reflect, you’ll find support here.

We meet regularly, our members remain consistent and over six sessions, trust builds and conversations deepen.

You don’t need to have a plan. You don’t need to have the right words.

Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.

What Might Be on Your Mind

Everyone’s story is different. But many men share common challenges:

  • Relationship or family breakdown

  • Stress at work or questions about career direction

  • Conflict or difficulty communicating with others

  • Financial pressure

  • Wanting to be a better father or partner

Whatever’s going on, this group offers space to work through it with others who understand.

Is this for you?

We’re not looking for experts or perfection.
Just men who are ready to show up for themselves and each other.

You might feel this group is right for you if:

  • You want personal growth and deeper wellbeing

  • You’re looking for connection and real conversation

  • You’re open to hearing feedback, even when it’s uncomfortable

  • You like supporting others, not just taking for yourself

  • You can commit to being present and consistent

What to Expect in Each Session

Each gathering is carefully held by a trained facilitator.
There’s a clear shape, with enough room for real moments to unfold.

  • Opening check-in to settle into the space

  • Brief intros for new members

  • Sharing what’s on your mind, if and when you’re ready

  • Gentle feedback and support from others

  • Occasional guided input or exercises to support growth (e.g. stress management, relationship patterns etc)

  • Closing reflections and takeaways

  • Optional social time afterwards for anyone who wants to stay and chat

Between sessions, we stay connected through a private WhatsApp group.

Group Agreements

To make sure the group feels safe, respectful and useful for everyone, we ask that all members agree to the following:

  1. Be on time. Please arrive by 7.15pm so we can begin promptly at 7.30pm.

  2. Respect the structure. The facilitator will guide the flow of the session and invite contributions to keep things balanced.

  3. Listen fully. Let each person finish speaking before responding.

  4. Keep it focused. Share what feels relevant and avoid long stories. The facilitator may gently move things along in the interest of the group.

  5. Signal when you’d like to speak. A raised hand is all it takes.

  6. One share, one response. When offering feedback to someone, keep it brief and offer it once unless asked otherwise. This avoids circular conversations.

  7. Speak from experience. Rather than offering advice or solutions, share what’s true for you. Use “I” instead of “you should”

  8. Show up even when you don’t have something to say. This group works because of the mutual support it offers. Your presence matters, even when you’re just there to listen.
